I was wondering if i bore out my converters will that throw a check engine light and if i was going to lose HP because of the light being on? and if that is true is there a way to reset or turn the light off?

I wouldn't do that. I bored out the cat on my 97 integra and it did nothing and it will certainly through your check engine light! You need the cat for back pressure or you will be on a mission trying to keep your car started in the morning until it warms up.. IMO

I would agree...I bored out the cats on my 1999 mustang cobra and the sensor came on...it was a major pain to fix it to make sure it would pass emissions.

just my opinion though

good luck!

Did anyone figure out if we could customize headers for our cars (3.5 AC). I really just want to invest in performance mods to my car, rather than stero or body kits.
