So I'm in the process of planning my building and im strugging with choosing a turbo. Right now i have a Sr20 Redtop in a 91 hatchback.I just had a daughter board and Rom Tune done by import intelligence. Currently running a ebay 50 trim turbo (car was purchased with this installed). Stock injectors, walboro 255 pump, FMIC, it looks to be a megan racing or XS power top mount turbo manifold and thats about it for mods. So here is my plan. Aeromotive FPR, 740cc injectors, i have a JGY top feed fuel rail, Greddy intake manifold, TurboXS boost controller, Innovate LC-1 Wideband. The choices im having problem making are a Borg Warner S256 Turbo or a Garrett 3076R, I want to get a new manifold i know a few people that have this exact one on their swaps and have had problems with them cracking. I know everyone is going to tell me to go with a standalone but im considering just having It ROM tuned again. I didnt know if anyone had a suggestion on parts or opinions.

Please be the pioneer for the Borg Warner on this forum. We all know what the GT3076 is capable of, but I haven't seen and SR guys try the S256 yet. I've researched that turbo and it sounds awesome to me. Their extended tip technology sounds like the s*** and the turbo should spool well and make great power. My vote is for the Borg Warner!!!

Currently running a borg warner on my sc. S series Borg Warners/Switzer are by far the best bang for a buck turbo. I'm not too sure if the exhaust housing are T6's on those.. Extended tip is a plus also. no **** "wink wink"

Seeing lots of guys moving to BW turbos lately.... prices are gonna go up soon :[

Ever since TurboMustangs/Turbo forums fond out, they've been on fire, and prices have gone up accordingly. Darn! I Like their 600-700hp turbos, really work well!
