So.... i get really bored at work. you can probably tell because im online from noon to nine every weekday. so i downloaded a SNES emulator and some games to keep me from going crazy, and i found an all japan gt chamionship game... the car you start out with is an s13 Silvia, (you can choose an fc, but why would you?) and so now i have something to do besides be a pain in NICO members' asses. it looks awesome for 16 bit, sounds awesome for 16 bit, and if you can read japanese characters, im sure its that much more fun. i dont understand a damn thing it says, but meh... i get by.

I would be careful talking about ROMs here. Emulators are ok. Downloading ROMs is illegal unless the game is public domain, or you have already purchased a liscensed copy (then it's just considered a backup). Don't want you to get nailed because you have it in writing somewhere that you are doing it (like here).

Just a head's up.

thanks for the heads-up. im not sure what the law is for places that the rom was NEVER available in the fisrt place, you MAY have the japanese authorities on your *** for this.

Did you ever notice that Japanese games have random splatterings of english in them? Like in your above picture, "Car Select" is in english. What? Don't they have words for car and select?

How is that game anyways? I saw a post about it a while back and someone mentioned that you get a better drifting experience from Mario Cart.

Negative about the laws. A while back I was in to alot of the emulation. They had a heated battle where of the legality of roms which was decided that it was legal for a game that is no longer manufactured, blah, blah, etc. You get the picture.
