What everyones take on this car? My opinion is that I see it as a luxury Supra. I feel like it has a massive amount of potential.

They're nice luxury cruisers if you can find a clean unmolested one. But they are a significant step up from your 240sx in terms of repair/maintenance costs.

Toyota Soarer 's are cool. I know a guy with a crazy Toyota Cressida with a 2jz swap. Heavy cars though about 1100lbs. more than a S13.

sc300/soarers are from 3400-3800 and the s13 is around 2600

My boss just bought one but he found a steal. Found a black SC400, automatic tho, but with a blown motor. Bought the car for $500 and threw a fresh rebuilt down to the timing belt motor in it and some sweet freakin wheels on it. Im hatin on it. The body is fresh and so is the interior. I should take a pic.

They are a bit heavy tho and you can feel it. Also the brake pedal is so damn close to the gas that I pressed both pedals at the same time when I drove it. Im glad there was no car on front of me....

And btw, I believe MoD calls the sc400 and/or sc300 the worst car ever made. True story.

I want to do something different. 240s Seem to be what most kids are buying and ricing out now. Ive also had 9 of them! TIme to switch it up. I found a SC300 manual for 3k. Its white, which I want and its very clean. The only mod done to it is Tein Coilovers

Not the 300/400. But the 430. I'm atually quite fond of the 300/400.

The 300/400 has been in my sights for a while too. That and the Lincoln Mark VIII are two of my favorite 2dr luxury coupes under $5k.

Personally i'd prefer the 400, but I wouldn't be buying one to make big power and the sound of the 400 with good exhaust is just :fap:

SCs are pretty damn sweet and theres still a surplus of them out there that havent been screwed with. There is a kit made by http://www.quantum-auto.com/ its a little pricey but you would have one fun reliable hoonmobile

Yea I think that's the one. Hangs around charm city tuning.

There's a couple Sc's f/s on Route 40 at the 24hour tire spot.

Dont switch because "everyone is buying a 240", they're fun! But I definitely think its a good idea for you to switch it up after having so many s-chassis cars. Get some more experience under your belt! SCs are cool cars man, especially for just cruising around and feeling awesome. Like 4DSC said, a 400 with a good exhaust and a nice, simple stance would be an awesome thing to drive around in.

Heavy as f***, but if you are looking to do highway work that equals a very nice ride. It's a very solid platform for big power.
