This forum seems to die every once in a while, Hows about we talk about... 350Z's with fender mirrors? I was curious so I crappily shooped some mirrors onto my car's fenders. I think it looks terrible! What do you guys think?

You know you like em...especially if they come in light weight carbon fiber to reduce the weight of the heavy side mirrors...

Haha they look retro because I stole them off an S30. Anyone have a picture of a car with said CF mirrors? I'm willing to try with a different style mirror :D

I don't know... the look is alright but I really enjoy having the window down and touching the driver side mirror when I hit stop-go traffic.

What's that? :)

One of the things I certainly don't miss since moving from Chicago is traffic. I do miss the wide open expressways in the "empty hours", the man-made canyon that is Clark Street, and cops that didn't worry about speeding as long as you weren't driving like an idiot (there are real criminals to catch).

I traded a 45 minute / 20 mile commute over crappy roads (ask Kuhan about the road condition in Des Plaines, Mt. Prospect & Arlington Heights) for a 60 minute / 65 mile commute through the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hmm...maybe it's time for a new picture thread! :yesnod

Sorry for the thread jack Ender. The fender mirrors look ok, I think they'd look much better in a more modern Craft Square style. And call me old school, but I like them when the colour matches the rest of the car. Hell, if I had a CF hood I'd end up painting it to match.

Stealthy! :naughty:

I might go for a drive today after today's TdF stage is finished. If I do I'll do my commute drive even though I'm not working. I'll start a new thread with some new pics. Hope others will join in. Soup can post some sweet South Beach photos, and while I don't expect the pics to be NSFW I do expect some skin. :naughty:

The traffic here in Chicago can only get worse. They are currently remodeling Interstate 290, and it's a nightmare. We just have to deal with it because we here in Illinois do need new remodeled roads. :yesnod

Every time my Z hit a big pothole, my heart skips a few beats. :rotflmao
Luckily, I don't have to DD my Z so it's not too bad.

I was in California, Nevada and Arizona about 2 months for a 2-week vacation, and I was surprised the roads there in Los Angeles weren't that great either.
