what would happen if you de-stroke the ka24de by 5mm and bore it by 1mm and add longer rods?

sorry if this has been cover before, tried to search, redirect me if you can but if this topic hasn't then i have open ears.

what would happen if a person done this with professional head work, turbo, cams, valve springs,etc... also?

IT WILL HAVE 2.3L OF DISPLACEMENT. THIS IS STUPID THOUGH, YOU WOULD LOSE YOUR TORQUE AND THE LONGER RODS WOULD THROW THE SYSTEM OFF BALANCE AND PROBABLY HURT POWER RAHTER THAN BUILD IT. SEE IF YOUR THINKING LIKE A V8.... THEY ALL EITHER PUT LONGER RODS ON THE STOCK CRANK OR PUT LONGER RODS ON A STROKED CRANK. THE POINT IS TO INCREASE TORQUE AND BUILDING MORE DISPLACEMENT.

Only if you were planning to doit that way. You could just as well de-stroke the crank.

sr's want 2.2 liters instead of 2.0, rb26 owners want 2.8 liter instead of 2.6 liters, why do you want 2.3 insteaad of 2.4?

Longer rods do not change displacement. And n actuality, longer rod ratios help keep the piston straighter in the cylinders and divert more of the force vertically. This helps transfer cylinder pressure into mechanical energy more efficiently. The NASPORT GT KA's use pistons with a higher wrist pin so they can use a longer rod. The displacement stays the same.
