I just located a boot for my converible and allthough it appears easy to install I have a question does the lip tuck down behind the rear seat ? because it has what looks like it has a lip on the boot that needs to be attatched someware can someone send me a few pics from diferent angles my email address is [email protected] any help would be great

Welcome aboard, make sure to enter your vert in the registry!

The "ziplock" lip on the boot goes onto the metal "ridge" behind the seat. However, I just tuck mine flat down in behind the seat (looks cleaner).

Someone else had this same question a few weeks ago so when I was last home from college I took a picture of the lip thing, but it figures that I'm at work now and my camera is on my desk in my apartment.

Anyways, yea, just think about how a ziplock bag works and its the same principle. The plastic piece that the boot mates with is on the metal rail directly behind the rear seat. It's the piece that keeps the pouch the roof folds into held in place behind the rear seat.
