Ok it drives just fine sometimes but once in a while it just all out looses boost and pushes straight air out through the bov. Whats the problem?

Ill be driving and it will boost just fine. And then outa the blue it will loose boost and it will just spray out air of the bov when i rev it up. And when it does this, the car will die. But if it doesnt i shut the car off and let it sit for a few mins and then it boosts just fine.

Sticking wastegate or BOV? Or your boost controller isnt working properly. If its electrical, check the grounds first.

better question what kind of bov do you have?ive found that the apexi valves tend to get sticky over time and have to be dissasembled and lubed with something hella viscous to work properly again.

Sounds like a stuck BOVPop it off and spray some WD40 on the BOV piston and pump it up and down in the bore. Slow at first and then quickly near the end. Remember nice guys finish last.
