Hey everyone, I have a question regarding boosting and tuning.

I recall someone saying in a past thread, that the F50 Q45 models that had the aftermarket superchargers installed by dealership in Beverly Hills, that's no longer, didn't have an aftermarket tune. Supposedly, the tuning wasn't necessary for the car to run well with an additional 4-5 psi from the supercharger.

My question is... If the car didn't need a tune for 4-5 psi provided by the supercharger, wouldn't the same apply to 4-5 psi of boost coming from 2 small turbos?

Guessing, but possibly the SC worked adequately without "needing" a different tune . Whereas with
a turbo you got that "geometric" power development - spooling progressively , not just directly tied to crank like Supercharging. Turbo here ( TWIN  ) , possibly more beneficial WITH a tune ??
