First of all, does anyone have any information/links to any boosted pathfinders/qx4's?

Im personally at a dilemna, I either leave the qx4 as is and probably sell it (its already modded) and fund my honda projects, or I try and make this qx4 fun to drive and boost it.

Im looking for any info I can get. How much horsepower the stock drivetrain can take, auto transmission etc. Im used to boosting FWD cars and hondas are pretty easy, dont know much about an auto transmission at all.

Would the electronics be very difficult? I wont know if theres even any headers made for this app, but making manifolds would preobably be pretty difficult though eh....

Honestly, if your a honda guy, your gonna find this platform very pricey to boost. The tuning is harder, the parts arent cheap, and the transmission is gonna be an issue for sure.

nissan does have a supercharger available from their NSIMO div, but it won't be cheap - $4000. Plus, if you think your gas mileage is bad now, wait 'till the S/C starts working. I would guess a 15-20% decline in mileage.

As far as a rear mounted turbo (STS), I wouldn't waste my time with it. With FI comes new fuel maps and not many companies are making sofware for the Pathfinder last time I checked. The PF/QX4 isn't a zippy little sports car and does not sell to the traditional tuner demographic, so your tuning adventure will be short lived.

I wanted to boost the QX4 aswell, the auto transmission kinda puts a damper on it though as I dont know much if anything about what this transmission can take, or the rear end

Well, just think about what else runs the VQ35DE engine...

The 350Z!

Different setups, but can be worked to your needs with proper persuasion and $$$.
