I turned up the boost to 6psi and my car feels way quicker, but now when it gets to about 5k rpms it feels like its a little slow to get to 6k rpms.

Congrats.

What turbo are you using. And what engine management? You might be running decently rich from 5-6k rpm, and that may be slowing you down a bit.

yeah wat are your AFR's? your air flow gets less at that rpm so you'll want to lean it out a bit

I have a 57trim t3/t4e, walbro fuel pump, 370s injectors, 300zx maf, s-afc2, and a stock ignition system. I started boosting at 4psi, but thursday Im going to turn it up to 9psi. My lm-1 reads 11.8 while boosting, so do you guys think I need to lean it out a bit for higher rpms? I always thought your supposed to richin it up the higer you rev. Oh yah how much psi do you think I could run with 370cc injectors and my t3/t4?

Is it really?

Mine are gapped at stock... but I didn't notice any misfire or hesitation on boost.

Mine slows down at 5-7k because it's at 10.5 a/f, which will be fixed when i get a new clutch.

When I tried to run my car at 5psi on stock gap, I couldn't go past 1psi. Stronger coil is in order as well.

You need a wideband.

Im starting to think that the plugs are fouled out ill change them tomorrow. I really need help because Im suppose to race my friends mk3 supra, and that thing is fast and all he has is a upgraded ct26, 3''down pipe, intake, and exhaust, running 9psi, and that thing pulls. so after I get all the bugs out do you think I have a chance at beating him if I run 9psi?

Yes. His car is almost 1000 pounds heavier.

But don't race him UNTIL you've worked out the bugs. You don't wanna blow your motor, do ya?
