I just finished my turbo install and started tuning my car. I got low throttle tuned at 14.7 and my high throttle at about 11.8. When my car hits 4 psi it does'nt feel much faster then stock. It does'nt feel like its boging or anything like that, but it feels like the turbo did'nt make it faster.

what kinda turbo do you have? I have a t3/t4 and my car didnt start feeling fast untill after 6lbs of boost anything under that felt pretty slow. Im at 7.5lbs now, and it feels good

I have a 57 trim t3/t4 and my boost gauge is teed in at the bottom left of the intake manifold. The gauge is reading 4 psi so I guess i'll try 7 psi and see what happens.

What is your setup first of all.

Wastegate? Fuel mangment? IC? Boost management?

Make sure you have the correct supporting mods..and then up the psi.

I'm running 7psi on a crappy T25 and the ****er MOVES.

With a 57 trim, 4 psi isn't going to do much. You're still fighting the extra bottle neck of not allowing the exhaust to flow straight through. I agree if you have fuel mods turn it up to 7 psi or so, then see how it is.

My set-up is a walbro fuel pump, 370cc injectors, 300zx maf, 300zx fuel filter, s-afc2, 57trim t3/t4 internal wastegated, cheap front mount intercooler, and jgs manifold. I have'nt hooked up the exausht so its running on a open down pipe. My readings on the lm-1 seem to be good in the area when boost hits. My timing is retarded to 17 degrees. Im going to up the boost 7psi today after work to see if my car picks up better.

4 psi from a t4 compressor should give you 25% extra power…so around 35-40hp you should feel the difference.

Up it to 7 and see what happens.

If still no change…I bet your blowing out your spark.
