I know this has been covered and i have looked through many posts but i am kind of curious what psi people have been running with STOCK internals ... i am going to run somewhere between 6 - 10 psi with a t3/t40e 50 trim .63 A/r stage III wheel with a warlboro fuel pump, 50 lb injectors, nismo fpr, cobra maf, jwt ecu and intercooler of course. I figure since i am using a JWT ECU which will naturally run rich i am safe running between 8 - 10 but i have heard of cars with problems running that high of boost. i know WD says in his sticky post that 12-15 is safe if you are a confident tuner...but i am not sure if my car will hold up with that and since i run the JWT ecu there are not many tuning adjustments i can make .....

I don't see a problem, especially not if the car is in good shape. I'd run 10-15 on that setup without worrying :)

All the KA's I know running 15 psi on stock internals are running a JWT set-up.

Eliminate detonation and you'll be just fine. Most of the early KA problems were do to the timing curve. You can't use an NA timing map with forced induction and expect the motor to hold alot of boost. So the typical FMU setup isn't meant for big boost. But if you get a remapped ECU like the JWT that already pulls timing with boost you should be in bussiness. I always recommend using a knock meter of some sort just to be on the safe side. I use the MSD Knock Meter.

thanks for the tips ... does anyone here have any experience with turbonetics newgen wastegate ? I've heard their deltagate was not very reliable but the newgen is a new product and seems to be well built...
