Does anyone know what the stuff on the same 'plate' as the igniter chip is? from what i understand it doesn't get used, but it seems like if its used in japan, why wouldn't i use it here? anyway, if anyone knows are knows where to hook the vacuum lines, i would really appreciate it. Thanks very much!~steve

It's not needed, why would you use it?

If you want it so bad, why don't you hook up your AIV too and make sure you use the stock airbox?

One is a boost sensor that hooks into the wastegate and then to the ECU, the other has to do with the AIV and the carbon canister. I believe that on the stock SR the boost sensor actually prevents you from boosting too much and first gear and no boost in reverse or neutral. which would would kinda suck beacuse I love to hit full boost backing out of my driveway:P.

Anyways, don't hook them up, it's less vaccum lines to worry about anyway.
