boost spike with mbc?

i just put a turbo xs mbc on and i am having boost spike?is this the right way to hook it up or is there another way to hook it up so i don't get boost?it is spiking to 15-18psi then coming domn to 11 or 12 psi.please help!!!!!

That setup is wrong. Your MBC should be going from the IC piping to the wastegate. Don't tee it to the BOV. In my pic, the top nipple is going to the IC and the bottom one is going to the wastegate

Mbc hook up backward? What does it spike to and what psi do u plan to run

will it leak if you drill and tap the ic piping?

the car is tuned for 15 psi.it spike anywhere from 15 to 18 psi i was wanting to run about 12 or 14 psi.i also have a cheap $20 O'Reilly's boost gauge.could it be miss reading?

Shouldn't leak if you seal the threads with some JB Weld

i tap the ic piping and it is still spiking. I bought the standered turbo xs mbc. Could it be that i got the one that bleads air to control boost is cheap?i heard that hallmen has a better mbc that uses ball and spring.should i just buy one of those or save money and go electric boost controller?
