boost spike on my rb25det please help ASAP

okay so I have a 93 skyline r33 gts25t with an rb25det in it. Its got a front mount, ISIS intake manifold, q45 TB and thrbo XS typeH RFL BOV, and turbo xs boost controllor single stage. so I was out in the car today and the boost is spiking at like 20lbs the boost controllor is turned ALL the way DOWN i have no idea why its doing it can soemone please help ASAP

Stock turbo and 3in DP NO cat and 3in cat back 3in all the way help please

take a look at hose conected to the nipple on the wastegate actuator, see if its conected. may possibly be a leak in the actuator diaphram and need replaced. not sure what else, good luck

i agree with the wastegate needing to be checked and probably replaced. You might incur some damage from running 20psi

but it was fine with the stock boost controlor on it what could have changed

one of the lines cracked or popped off on the install

sounds like a bad boost controler. Mine did the same thing, I took it off and ran stock wastegate press and it fixed it... Try that and see if it corrects it if not its a bad gate.
