Keep in mind I have the stock T25 and stock injectors, FMIC, 3" DP, TP, 3" Exhaust, intake, 255LPH FP, BOV...

Will I notice a significant gain in HP if I up stock boost to 12psi? Only thing I am worried about at the moment is if I up the boost, will it hinder reliability? Thanks.

From what i have read 12 should be AOK. A guy down a the local track said that he rand the car stock and it was running low low 15's and he turned it up to 14 and ran a 14.3

He experenced pretty significant gains i'de say. "Your mileage of course may vary"

Yeah, you could easily up the boost without having to worry about reliability.....And you will notice a difference in the way your car accelerates. It should put your back against the seat if you're use to the stock setting.

12 psi is sick, the only thing to worry about when puching higher boost is the smic, but since u upgraded, u should be fine

you should have no problem running just under a bar of boost i recomend a boost controler that allows you to set boost at two diffrent settings like the Greddy profec b so when you do want to race you hit the button to up the boost

Low 15's on stock boost? WTF?

And at 1 bar of boost he ran 14.3? I go 14.5 on stock boost. Something is wrong with your boys car.

The temperature and elevation will affect drag times too.

I was thinkin the same thing. runnin 14 lbs should get you into the 13s easy. But it does depend on how stock it is. Spit, when I ran 12.7 it was on 11-12 lbs and Im basically running stock. Stock injs-stock turbo-stock maf. I have a fmic exhaust the usuals. It had recently been on the dyno with the afc I just had to tune the avcr at the track.

Maybe he had Tino's mom in the back, that might slow it down that much...Nah, he'd be running 20's if that was the case.

more boost will make the motor wear out quicker, the turbo won't last as long, and you'll use more gas. But who cares, you didn't install that motor to have it last like a toyota did you? Go for like 13-14 if you want to have fun on the track.

14lbs, t25, FMIC for 2 years now and no problems (ran that on the SMIC for a while also)

My theory is:

"If it breaks fix it...then break it again... then fix it again" Like Moving said I built the car to go fast and that is all!

It's driver's experience at the drag strip. A month and a half ago i was at Fontana and got two runs. The second run was my best at 15.038 and 93.4 mph at stock everything except springs/struts, K&N filter, and custom crush bent 2.5" exhaust. My first time at the drag strip and I didn't do any good, but I'm sure my second time going there I will certainly improve my times though. All I need is traction.

I do admit that I am an amature at the drag strip and need more practicing(first time there). I hope Mopar Drag City here in Banning has better traction than California Dragway in Fontana though once they're done building the facility.
