Im having some problems with boost. Heres the rundown. I had a ghetto welded hotpipe that leaked badly. It had a nipple for the wastegate welded to it... it leaked also. I thought the problem would be solved by replacing the hotpipe with a greddy one. In doing that I had to run that hose and T into a hose off of the intake mani. I did that get it all back together. I also had to modify my hotpipe to fit the t28 turbo outpipe. That wasnt a big deal though. Well now it runs worse. It bucks horribly at the first hint of a little throttle. I also found out that my stock bov wasnt hooked up becasue it is stuck open. Im in the process of getting a new bov asap. But the question is... what did i do to make it run worse? I have a greddy front mount if that matters and the stock bov is on the hotpipe in the front bumper.

Sounds like you're leaking boost. Probably from the BOV that's stuck OPEN.

When its not connected to a vacuum line it doesnt blow out any air that i can feel. Its not recirculated either. I know its bad to run without a bov but i figured that it was working because i thought the stock bov is silent. I guell that I will find out as soon as i get my turbo xs h-rfl in However, when i T'd into my wastegate line it was blowing air like crazy!
