boost prob

my boost is dropping from peak everytime i slam the gas and i dont know why. my only guess is the stock bov. any ideas? what happens is the boost will get to 3 fine but as it passes 5 it drops and the regains and back and forth. any help would be great. thanx

what turbo/wastegate setup are you running?

does it go back and forth as the engien revs higher? if so i would says u have a boost leak. check all ur hose couplings and gaskets i guess. if not maybe sumthin is up with ur wastedate

The other possibility is that your 3BOV spring rate is set really low, but not very likely, check for boost leaks. I would also check the operation of the waste gate.
