Hey everybody i have a 89 240sx non turbo at the moment...well non everything at this particular moment. I jumped timing and bent valves in my ka24e and dented up pistons so im taking this opportunity to build a dohc KA-T.
Just wanted to introduce myself to the KA-T community as im sure ill have plenty of questions for your boost gurus. Actually, i already have a few but i havnt read the stickys or searched for stuff yet so ill do that first.

Thanx to everyone that welcomed me... and to those that didnt Anyway ive been a member for long enough to know about stickies and searching just havnt really been posting much. I was mostly reading through the topics to see what you guys were talking about.
As for the thick wallet...Thats definatly not me...Ill let ya know when my bank account gets into the triple digits But since my 240 is my only car i have a bit of help from my grandmother whos lending me 1500.
As for my plans im not sure yet. I have a friend that may be giving me his dohc ka to build... If not then im building my sohc.

Would be nice if my grandma, mom, and aunt actually liked my car. If a vacuum tube is off and I dont WANT to drive the s13, "the nissan is broke down again"....and no one actually even KNOWS whats wrong and never even asks.

lol thats actually what im doing. It was sorta like "Mom i finished taking the head off and my pistons and valves are shot to hell" She basically asked me what that ment and i said...well a rebuild or a new car lol. My pistons arnt in that bad of shape. Alittle dented up but nothing that would be cause for a rebuild so technically i could redo the head...But thats just no fun LOL

I tired that and my parents just stood there and gave me a lecture about self responsiblity (I was 18 then 22 now) except it was my SE-R sentra my 240 I knew I was by myself.SlidnSideways wrote:lol thats actually what im doing. LOL! Kinda same here. Yeah, Im 19 now. My mom/granmda have given me lectures about having "reliable transportation". Since Ive gotten the car, Ive been the only one to put EVERY PENNY into this car. From day one.turbo98_240sx wrote:
