So then I would need to extend the plug by the ignitor chip across the engine bay like I did for the o2 sensor? Thank you by the way for blessing us with the information about the poor man's boost controller

The solenoid go's to the main engine harness to a rectangular plug that is next to the igniter chip plugs. Also if you got you're harness done by a shop, chances are that they just cut off the plug and its no longer there.

I doubt the Power FC would use that siliniod since they make their own boost controller. Wouldnt make since for them to since ever boosted nissan ive seen from factory has that siliniod on the harness.

The stock solenoid is the only way the ECU knows what the boost pressure is at, if you dont have it the ECU just pretends it is at the stock setting. If your ECU is in limp mode, run the ECU for error codes and fix the errors, this is the only way to reset the ECU.
So you are saying the ECU thinks you are running 11psi without the stock solenoid? I am not running the stock solenoid, and running about 7-8psi...Could this explain why I am running rich?

Rich at idle or rich on boost? I dont think the ECU cares about your boost pressure numbers. The ECU will take the voltage from the MAFS sensor to figure out its mixture ratios over the boost pressure signal.

thnx, and yeah, i noticed that they did cut the plug and had to jimmy rig it. but when i unplug the solenoid, the car starts to heisitate and die sometimes when driving. could this have something to do with plugging up and unplugging the solenoid?

It shouldnt react at all if you disconnect the solenoid, perhaps you extended the wrong wires.

So if you have a boost controller and some kind of fuel management, like a SAFC, there is no benefit to having the solenoid hooked up right?

It doesnt matter if you have fuel management or not. The solenoid acts as a boost regulator not letting boost exceed about 11.5 psi. This is basically what a boost controller would do to.
