So I read that you block off the inlet side of the turbo and pump air through that to test for leaks. For those of use that dont have a air gun what can we use? I already have a end cap to block it. But thats it.

Alos I read that you can pump the air through the waste gate? Is that safe?

You need a air hose fitting to screw into your block off plate, so you can plug your air hose into it. REMEMBER, to regulate it to 7psi, plugging a 100psi line into your motor would be bad.

When ever I do a boost leak test, I remove the bumper and spray soapy water all over everything. If you see bubbles, you got a leak.

I rig up a bike tire stem lol. And Im using a tire pump so I dont think I have to worry about 100psi going through the motor :P It takes a little longer but its working. Already found a big one.

Yeah I just went to home depot and got some couplers and a valve stem. I pressure tested to the amount of boost I planned on running cause things can seem fine at 7-10psi but after that you can really tell what hoses are not tight and when leaks will start happening
