boost leak!!

Ok... im getting close but im crazy leaking boost. I need to replace the gaskets for the entire AAC assembley and that weird plate on the back of the intake plenum (with the PCV and such on it) because right now they are sealed with RTV silicone. Can someone please tell me where i can get these gaskets because searching on NAPA and such has gotten me nowhere!

I used rtv on all of that and it sealed fine. How do you know it's a boost leak?

because right as it hits 1-3 lbs of boost it stumbles.... and i dont think my 460cc injectors would make it do it THIS bad... it has absolutly no power it just stumbles and wont rev up too much.

are you sure you're not detonating? Also, are you sure the MAFS is hooked up and working properly? Pull the codes from the ECU.

You must have some serious and I mean serious leak in order to get the car not to boost more than 3lb, I doubt the seals on the intake will cause that much leakage.What kind of ecu are you using and since you are using 460cc injectors, are these low or high impedance because they will and can cause such a problem.

yes those injectors, can be causeing that problems, check the impedience. make sure all ur SMIC pipe is properly connected. I had the same problems on my FC look every where for leak and thing unplug, end up with lose pipe. just my .02 C

Well im gonna take a look at it tonight. I bought the injectors from Fanta on here and he said they were low impedence. They are from an FC rx-7 (2nd gen i think) 460cc. Umm, ill run ecu codes again but i remember a while back when i was trying to get it to run it threw a detonation sensor and TPS sensor code. I have a ka24de throttel body on there but i put the ca TPS on the TB.

RX-7 second generation injectors are 550cc not 460cc

They work fine i guess. It has power right until it hits boost. Now i will say that it seems under powered and i live on a huge hill and trying to start going up it is hell on me.

But i think mine had like white tips... i dunno, i dont think that would be the caus of it loosing ALL power after a couple lbs of boost.... I mean it wont even blow off or let the wastegate open i think.

gash! u got there b4 i did, yeah FC have 460cc from non-turbo, 550cc from TII, and 680cc from a XXXXX model. C

They were 1350's, but this does sound weird.

Yeah, i hooked a leak tester to it and i had a slight leak on my intecooler but thats before the maf... so WTF... im gonna pull codes tonight and see whats what...
