ok problem is - car revs back in forth on its own -i belive due to a boost leak -- from what nico has to offer --

-- now this could be the problem but i want somebody to clear it up- when in nutral car revs back and forth - but seems to drive fine when i drive just when i dont give gas it revs it self - mm sucks

-- now i just put back on the intake manifold - rechecked that-- now when installing the new manifold - two manifold bolts broke --

-- could that be the resason for the boost leak coming the the turbo manifoldnot giving the turbo enuff pressure so it just revs back and forth -

- Im hoping that thats the only problem - everything was put back to gether just going to have to find those bolts then try it again i guess ?

any suggestions or were to get the maniflld bolts in cathanks nicoP

whats your boost gauge read at idle, wot etc. That deffenitly sounds like a vacuum leak to me. I had the same problem so I...

Took off intake manifold and RTVd itChecked all intercooler pips for leaks, not tight etcpressure tested the system, theres a diy one around here somewhere, search it up.

Just get a PVC cap for whatever diameter you IC piping is, drill a hole in it and install a valve stem. Then put the cap into one end of your IC piping (I just installed it into the silicone elbow I had off of my compressor housing). After that, get a bicycle pump and pressurize the system. Listen for the sound of any escaping air and you should be able to locate any boost leaks (I found 2 the day after I had mine dynoed). Cheap and easy way to check for leaks.

already tested the intercooler piping before --

-- i sprad starter fluid on vacum lines and intake manifold to see if it rev right away --sprayed then nothing happend so i sprayed the inside of the intake manifold lower part and ir reved looks like the gasket wanst sealed all the way in the process of undoing it all over again - seems pretty much ezy the 2 time around -== i belive i solved the problem will see later tonight will keep posted and thanks for the info will try that DIY right up next if this doesnt solve the problemwill keep posted thanks

-= and TWO have confurmed that it isnt the exahust manifold leak that is doing this - just to clear that up

YES -- so i took apart the intake manifold again - and BOOM fixed the problem like that BUT-- and i throw the BUT then in the process of taking the intake manifold apart the gasket going to the head - IT is now leaking coolient Everywere when idleing - DAM wasnt doing it before i guess i shouldnt have touched it at all- i guess off the phaze2 for a gasket

- problem solved and a new problem ahead lol

Are you sure it's leaking from the gasket between the manifold and head? There are a ton of coolant lines under there that you might have missed reconnecting? I am just throwing a guess out there.

i know of these coolant lines - cuz i cut my finger on ONE already today haha-- when i took off the manifold i could see were it was all comeing from - - this should be the last time for the intake until i get a new one -

-- Also im making my own gasket from gasket maker and - if ANybody wants one ill Copy the gasket and Email who ever wants it so they dont have to make one- just print & cut holes and ur ready to go -

Let me know

will keep posted -hopefully this is the last time lol

lol... Did you write that drunk? ---^

Blue smoke is oil, black smoke is rich fuel mixture, and white smoke is burning coolant.
