When you run an open wastegate you will get extremely high boost. Check to see where you got the vac signal for the wastegate.

you need to hook the vaccum line up to a pressurized part of your piping. The hotpipe is a common source.

This should be hooked up after the turbo, like J-Spec said.

If your wastegate is hooked up, then it will run at what ever the spring weight is. If it isnt, the turbo will produce as much boost as it can. I know this bc my screw came out of the vac nipple on top of my wastegate and I denotated yesterday. If you have an external wastegate, that is.
