I have a GReddy 52mm Electrical one. I would recommend it if I had my motor in and running, lol.

the only ****ty boost gauges are USUALLY any stock boost gauge that comes with a car. Some newer turbo cars have good gauges. I've personally never seen or had any experience with a bad boost gauge. It the price varies mostly because of brand and whether or not its mechanical or electric.

I'm using VDO gauges (boost, egt and oil pressure)

My CA is NA but my Grand Am is turbo and I'm using a Spearco gauge. I like it alot and it only cost $35 on ebay....brand new.

Bought it from the same guy selling THIS one, which is identical to the one I got.

The reason most stock boost gauges are so bad is because they're run off the ECU, and not an actual boost source. It's what the ECU "thinks" your car is boosting to by looking at an airflow table.

Any boost gauge that connects to a vac source will work just fine. Some are more accurate than others, but being off a psi or 2 won't kill you. Inproper tuning has a much bigger effect than that. The autometers fit nicely in the pillar pods, and are cheap. That's the choice of most budget races. But I'll be using Defi when I actually need one.

Dont get a VDO, They are loud as hell and rattle. I have 2 diffrent HKS. I cant decide what one I want to use. I have a first series circa 88 or so and the new full on bling version. The new one was kinda cheep. 90 bucks for a 60mm and it looks nice, Kinda ricer bright though.

Also I forgot to add becarefull of the autometer and VDO egt probes, They read kinda slow. Try a Greddy or omega probe. I like old school gauges and parts, That type of stuff is getting rare. I think I will keep them both lol.
