okay so those of u with boost guages, (u should have one cuz ur turboed) when u stomp on the throttle ur vacuum reading should go straight to 0 because at WOT there is 100%engine load and no more vacuum.for some reason, mine moves but only from 20 inches of vacumm to about 15 in. is my gauge just a pieces of **** or do i have a bad signal (mines coming from a tee off of the fuel regulator or butterfly system, one of those back there)

make sure its tee'd off the fpr line and not one for the butterflies, as i have no idea how those work. does the gauge go back to zero when you turn the car off? if it does, something is wrong with how you have it set up. being a turbo vehicle, when you stomp it, it should go to boost, and not stay on vacuum.

you can build boost in neutral, it just takes some heavy foot action. might not reccomend it though.

You teed it into the butterflies, that system is designed to retain vacuum. Tee it into the FPR.

ok i went and took a look.now there is only one vacuum feed coming off the back of the intake mani right next to the fpr and whatnot.i have that one feed going to the fpr and tee'd to the butterfly system. then i put another tee for the boost controller. im obviously running too many things off of one feed right? i only know of 2 feeds tho and the other one is right after the throttle body which is feeding my wastegate and u dont wanna mess with the signal to the wastegate. are there any other feeds?

Do not tee anything more than a gauge into you FPR hose. You want that gettin a solid signal.

blowoff to the purge line under the throttlebody, gauge to the FPR. Boost controller to another manifold vacuum/boost source.

ok cool so ill just have to run the bov to that TB line and then leave the gauge at the fpr. i was wodering why ever since i put that bov in my car started to not like boost lol. sounds like problem solved.

I saw one guy had a nest of tees on his FPR, gauge, BOV and boost controller. I wonder how well that worked

haha that would be funny to see.hmmm it seems better now but it hits boost just fine but as the rpms increase the power decreases....more timing needed maybe. i have the air idle screw all the way in and timed after that
