I have a Blitz Manual boost gauge and it reads low. When I give it gas up to 6000 or more it wont go past 0. I have this tee'd off of the vacuum that goes to my FPR. I don't have a boost controller yet only an HKS wastegate actuator on a stock T25. This is a redtop motor. I checked the lines and I couldnt find a vacuum leak. Any ideas? Anyone?

Also I purchased a JDM tach as I had a SOHC motor and it reads high. My Apexi RSM reads about 400 RPM's slower. The RSM seems to read correctly just by the sound of the engine when at idle. I have included pics of both. Thanks.

In the pic the boost gauge is reading at idle.

Make sure your cylinder setting on the SAFC is at 4 not 2

Also its hard to build a lot of boost sitting still. You should read around 20 kg/m of vacum. I think thats the ratio.

does your car pull when you drive it? If so how hard. I have heard of turbos comin loose from the manifold and that will make the gauge read bad, and the car will still drive, but doesnt pull as hard. So if all else fails in that arena check your immediate exhaust piping for leaks. If that doesnt work, make sure your lines are in the correct place at the throttle. I dont have pics of placement, but you should be able to find them on this forum.

As Blown 240 said. Your car should not read ) at idle. the vacuum is really is being controlled until you push the gas to open the throttle and air starts to flow with force.

The car pulls pretty hard. I checked the manifold and turbo and it seems to be bolted up just fine. If I drive it and take the RPM's to 6500 it only reads 0. I don't have a boost controller and have an HKS external wastegate actuator on the stock T25. I t'd the boost gauge into the left top nipple with the FPR. No vacuum leaks on those lines either. I just want to make sure everything is right before I buy another boost gauge because this one is broken. Thanks.

if the gauge is off it wont go back to 0 when you turn the car off.

you might have a leak that only comes in when you are boosting. or there might be a leak in your boost gauge line.
