boost evolution turbo kit!!!

Well ive been putting much thoght into the type of turbo kit im gonna get... ive been looking hard at the kit from http://boostevolution.com/turbokits2.htm its the stage one kit minus the vortec FMU (have an SAFC) and the T3(getting a t3/t4 as well as 370cc injectors.) Im only looking to run about 8psi of boost to the block and hopefully ~250hp. Have you guys heard anything about this kit. is it worth it or should i just peice togther a kit of my own? Please feel free to provide anykind of input!!!

I would hate to have to drop 1600 dollars on a kit and have all the parts **** up when i run it.....

try checking out the KAT forum, that's where we talk about things related to... KAT's.

You also might want to think twice about not getting that FMU...it makes the car very hard to tune, and with the money you'll spend at a dyno getting it right, just buy the fmu for future upgrades.
