Yeah Im one of the guys with the boostdesigns kit on my s13. The intercooler piping is a pain in the butt to figure out, plus you get no instructions....at all. PJ is very very hard to get in touch with, if you have questions.....which you most definitely will. You can run a safe 8-10 psi with the fmu, but then it becomes worthless. Right now, I have a 1993 kat with the boostdesigns kit and a 1997 s14 with a s14 sr. The 1997 will be completely finished in about a week. Ive been waiting on parts for forever lol. So far, believe it or not, the sr swap was easier than installing the boostdesigns kit. The piping took forever to cut and weld and the freaking downpipe doesnt bolt up to anything but their exhaust, so this in turn made me have to wait in line for two weeks at a muffler shop to get a 3"pipe thats 2 & 1/2 feet long. My wastegate from boostdesigns was supposed to come with a 8lb spring....lucky for me it came with a 14.7....1 bar spring which caused me to over boost, blow off a wastegate hose, and couldve blown my head gasket.....im not sure about the head gasket yet. Ive got to get that checked, but my car is running really stupid. All in all, for 2k the boostdesigns kit is worth the money, but I think they get in too big of a hurry there. If you check everything you get (very throughly) then you should be ok. I think Im getting around 250whp or so at 10psi. Thats what my butt and back tell me (its usually pretty accurate bc Ive been in many many high horsepower cars). Thats not bad for spending only 2k on the kit, but I didnt have to pay labor since I own a body and mechanic shop. Good luck on your embarkment and be sure to let us know how it goes. We all like pics
