im using the boost designs stage I sticky to install my kit. the only problem in running into is the undetailed instructions of how/where to install the vacuum lines with the kit. im totally lost on the vacuum stuff. my wastegate has 2 barb fittings (one on the side and one on the top) and i dont know where and which one to use. my cold pipe has a nipple on it and i have no idea what to put on it. the BOV has to be welded on the hot pipe but what vacuum source to use? any help with these vacuum locations and pics would help GREATLY! thanks

all your vacuum source can come from the fuel pressure regulator...it has a vacuum line that you can just T off with a T fitting and vacuum hoses...theres a picture in this forum if you dont know where that is...just type in vacuum in the search button and you should find it..fiznat posted a picture...

the wastegate has 2 ports yes...the top one you should only use if you have an electronic boost controller...if you dont you should just use the side port and T that off the fpr line as well

your cold pipe has a nipple for the hose that comes off the IACV ( idle air control valve ) it should be a perfect snug fit....its in front of your intake manifold

the BOV i reccomend to weld it onto the COLD pipe because putting it onto your hot pipe would cause to much backpressure....you know that you must weld on a flange first though right?? i think BD uses the greddy type S BOV? i forgot but you should only need to use the port that comes out sideways...that should also be T'ed off the FPR line...you can leave the other port open...it you want to use it it needs to see boost...

just to let you know...i have BD IC kit and ITS A PITA!!!....psss...direct "plug and play" my a**!! i had do a lot of s*** just to make it fit

Every time I see a post like this, I'm embarassed that I backed BD.

I let you guys down once, I'll do my damnedest not to let it happen again.

I think we all appreciate all the contribution you did for the 240 community. ::kodak momeant::

P.S. I'll be buying the cat for BRM as soon as I figure out why I keep stalling out.
