Before i even think about putting a turbo on my ka24de i need to rebuild one or the one i have right now. well i was searching boostdesigns website because im interested in their stage 1 kit....but anyways, i came across the built ka24de-t turbo block they sell for $1699. i know that the guy from boost designs post here, and other people have ordered from them, so i was wondering what detailed information i can get from here about that block...is it worth the money, what isnt good on it? Thanks

From what i have read all the parts are of good quality....but there is a core of 250 or so i believe...then you have to pay shipping. And that is just for the block, you still have to put the head on. I thought about buying it instead of having mine built but i weighed my options...
I have...Forged BRC Custom Pistons-385Cometic Head Gasket-75Nissan Upgraded Timing Parts-300All Machine work+Complete Install-850

The machine work i am doing includes everything their's does...plus full balance of pistons, rods, crank, aluminum flywheel, and pressure plate. They are also installing Toda Bearings, and new seals. And it will be fully assembled so all i have to do is slap on the intake manifold and the exhaust manifold....
To each his own...I would rather build mine
