Do these engines have boost cut?Recently when I hit 13-14psi on my t25g at wot, the engine will buck......it's fine at wot up until I hit that......but once I get to 13-14, it's instant without warning. According to the safc2, knock is 0 when it does this. All vac lines and couplers look fine. It didn't use to do this....so maybe it's trying to spike past 13-14.....i dunno.

Also, where should the battery voltage be? Seems like when I first put the engine in, the afc showed over 14volts @ idle, now it shows 13.6-13.7 at idle, and 13.4 or so on the hwy cruising. I wonder if it's just not getting enough juice at wot???Any ideas on where I should start looking? Thanks

they do indeed have an ignition cut at 13psi. sucks, yes i know. that battery voltage is great, i wouldnt worry about it. the voltage was probably higher when you did the swap because the belt was new and had not loosened up yet.

Hmmmmm, ignition cut.........really? Interesting. How do you get around it? Re-chip?

I was thinking another possibility might be I was fairly low on gas when it did it, between 1/4 and E......with a walbro 255......so maybe the pick-up wasn't submerged completely? I need to fill up and see if it continues......because I haven't touched my boost controller in weeks, and this just started.

you know, mine didnt start on me today because it was low on gas. there was some in there but i parked the car on an incline and i guess as you say the pickup is higher than with the stock pump. might have to look into it. also, when it happened the fuel system made sounds like an angry guinea pig. weeep weeep weeeep weep we we weeep!! it was awesome.

edit: and its totally a fuel cut, not an ignition cut. sorry, im dumb sometimes.
