Boost Creep to 20lbs :[

I'm having crazy boost creep problems with my RB25. It says steady at 10lbs of boost from 1-6k rpms & then from 6-7k rpms it jumps to 18-20lbs. The vac for the wg is coming right off a nipple on the hot pipe. The boost gauge is getting vac from the Greddy intake. I'm running a tial 38mm wastegate with a 14lb spring, Garrett t3/t4, & egay exhaust manifold. It has to be either the manifold or the wg. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this problem. I searched but could not find anything...

both, mostly the manifold.

my tuner told me hes seen SRs out run the 38mm wastegates. but the ebay manifold isnt designed well. either get a new manifold of modify it

try to move the boost source for the wastegate to the vac-port behind the throttle body on the intake manifold

Crappy manifold design.

I use the same w/g with a t3/t4 60 trim along with a modified stock manifold with no creep.
