Well, after days of trying to figure out why i had boost creep, i figured out it that the dump was poorly routed back to the downpipe. So i went and removed the dump off the downpipe, ran open dump and my boost was solid at 8 psi..!!

I then went out and purchased a 1 inch 90 degree mandrel bent pipe and had it welded to the dump flange at the right angle so that it would clear the steering arm. I then go out for a test drive, and AGAIN i have boost creep...I go back to the house and remove that dump pipe and test drive her again, SOLID at 8 psi..!!

The hole on the dump flange is 1.25 inch diamter. I can fit a 1.5 inch pipe on it, but i wasent able to find that size here locally..So I had to settle for the 1 inch..

There should not be any resriction to the wastegate flow now, so why would it still creep with this pipe on..??Is it the 90 degree turn down or can it be that the pipe is too thin..??

ThanksRobert

Well, im not sure what the problem is here... It could be the pipe is too small or it can be that 90 degree bend to it..I understand that I dumped it back to the downpipe the wrong way the 1 st time and it caused my boost creep. Now I removed it off the downpipe and just dumped it straight DOWN to the ground with only one 90 degree mandrel bent pipe and its back to boost creep..!!! It makes no sense.. There should be ZERO restriction in the wastegate flow now..!! Why is it still creeping..??

VERY tight..!!! I cut the pipe at the wrong place and realized it after.. So i went ahead and welded it anyway to the flange...So there is no transition of pipe and then the 90 deg turn down..You have the flange, then STRAIGHT drop down.. I think that might be it and considering that its a tiny 1 inch pipe.I ordered the 1.5 inch pipe with a 2 inch radius 90 degree and hope that should be enough considering that i am limited on space where the dump exits....

That's it. Tight radius and smaller tubing...
