Boost controller??

Hey which boost controller do you guys think i should get??I was looking at either the Greddy Profec B spec II, the Turbo smart e-boost or the HKS evc ez II without the display.Which means i have to get my boost gauge now instead of later.

Both the greddy and the turbosmart have digital displays so that i don't need a boost gauge.

Has anyone heard anything about turbosmart?? I know that they are big down under but i haven't heard much of them up here in the states.

Go the AVCR is my opinion. alot better than any of the ones you listed above.

I'm a manual BC fan myself, use the extra cash for a set of drag radials.

I have the EVC4 and I love it. Not sure about the EVC EZ. I can't stand manual boost controlers. Drive boost... not enough pull over turn up.... drive pull over too much lol.

Just run a larger diameter vac hose and bring the MBC right into the cabin, (larger hose to ensure good signal)

i use the greddy profec b, nothing easier. more boost is 1 push of a button away. very easy install as well. all electronics are prob good, i have only used the greddy, but have no complaints

yeah the avc-r comes with a novel you have to read to use it and im not doing anything serious that i need all of those features either plus the thing is very expensiveI just need something with Hi/Lo boost and a gauge on it really something accurate that i dont have to play around with.

greddy e01 is a great boost controler.overtake boost is top notch and makes ppl think you have nitrous as the exhaust note changes (least on my car it does).holds boost rock steady and has a great display.

i like the idea of the fuzzy logic of the Profec A, but i preferred the mbc any day--it's just me

Fuzzy logic sucks. The Profec A in the wife's car got chucked. The Profec B is a good no-nonsense unit; low or high what could be simpler? I used MBCs back in the day and I can deal with their shortcomings but some of our new technogeek guys must have extraneous gadetry.

i totaly agree thta the fuzzy logic part of the e01 sucks.it will hold boost for a while then forget how to do it.the manual hold is awesome and thats what i use.
