We cant tell you WHERE it comes from...but...uh...

I definately hope it is either your Wastegate or your hot pipe nipple.

i have the same controller as a temporary thing until i get a electronic boost controler. the tee in the engine bay goes to your cotroller where it gets leaked off by the boost controller. there is a hose coming from a boost source that goes to the tee from the direction the arrow is coing from. the arrow point towards the waste gate acuator. the tee perpendiculare nipple is what goes to the controller, it comes i to the controller where the arrow points. then a hose runs out the other nipple this is the leak off hose. this is the hose that isnt conected to anything in the engine bay. and it shouldnt be. other wise pressure cant leak off.

No, one side goes from boost source(Hot Pipe) the other goes out to the wastegate.

no with this incabin boost controller. it has a tee that goes between the boost source and the wastegate. the third one o nthe tee goes to the boost controller. the extra hose coming off the boost controller is to leak pressure of so the actuater wont fill up as fast inabling you to increase boost. it goes back into the engin bay so it wont leak the air out in the cabin. with mine i just put a little 6 inch peice of hose on it and let it leak out i nthe cabin because i didnt feel like running it back through the fire wall again.

I'd be alittle nervous having that routed to inside,I remember reading something about the longer the lines are the more prone it is to spiking

this is true, well not nessicarliy spiking, but having the boost not exact. you cant set it exactly. mine is a temporary thing until i get an electronnic boost controller. the manual incabin boost controller is nice for adjusting the boost at will, but it isnt nessisarily a reiable way to increase boost.
