Okay, I thought I had this all figured out...... lines go to the controller and the boost gauge coming from the manifold. And then I read the instructions and now I'm all confused. Can someone give me a step by step installation guide? This is pissing me off. I just don't want to blow up my car.

I'm not 100% sure, the instructions for both say they hook up to the manifold/FPR, but I have heard hooking both of them up there give inaccurate readings and what not. I asked a little while ago where another good place too hook up the controller would be but never got a response so I just ran 2 T's between the manifold and FPR. One for gauge and one for controller.

Can you be more clear about how you went about doing this?

When I hooked up my boost gauge, teh directions just plain baffled me. I was like WTF??? Then I got a suggestion...jsut hopok it up to a vaccum line. So since I removed the carbon canister and had plugged those two lines, I unplugged one of them and installed the line for the boost gauge. It worked like a charm. I have not gotten a boot controller yet, so I cant give any help on that

I just used two T's. one for each, I have no clue if it will be accurate or work right since my car isn't running yet but this is what I did.

hmmm... that's your boost controller right? What did you do about the boost gauge line?

the boost gauge you can t off of one of the cvacuum lines from the manifold. The boost controller, i am almost positive goes between a line from a charged pipe(ie intercooler piping) to the waste gate. You should already have a line on the waste gate, so you put the controller in the middle of that line.

Ah, I figured it out. I got a boost gauge that reads both vacuum and boost. When I put it all together and turned on the car, my heart stopped when it read 20 on the vacuum side. Is that a bad thing or a good thing? On the plus side however it does read 6-7 psi so I'm happy. I was going to get my boost controller in...... but I ran out of T fittings..... *sigh* and all the stores are closed now. So that'll have to wait until tomorrow. =\

Yeah, boost gauges read about 20-18 inches of vacuum and when boosting go up to about 6-7. My hotpipe has a nipple right one it, that goes straight to the wastegate..no t needed. I guess you have a different setup. Goodluck

In the picture that larger vacuum line is controller and the small clear tube is the boost which I hooked up to a presta lock fitting.

Is everyone using a metal T-fitting to connect their boost gauge? I purchased an AutoMeter boost/vacuum gauge. I purchased a plastic T-fitting like it shows in the instructions, but I could not find the 1/8” connector that attaches the nylon tubing to the T-fitting.
