I have very simple short question.

I have t3 from 1988 nissan 300zx.

I have stock 6.7 psi actuator.

But I want to make it work at 10 psi.

I do not want to use elec. boost controller because of the price.

I do not want to use Manual boost controller because it's gay.

So. I found this kit from HKS http://storesense.megawebserve...o=465

Will this kit work on my t3 and succesfully make my actuator work at 10 psi?

(Tryint to get more horsepower)

I bought that same exact one, from the same exact place. The spring in that actuator starts moving at 11-12psi. You cant go lower but you can go higher, up to 18 they say, by shortening the actuator rod. So now my car runs at 11-12psi.

I used to have a manual boost controller, but those are painful to deal with. I still have it, sitting in the box. I ran it (greddy manual boost controller) for about 2 months. They are a major pain to tune, you can turn the knob all day and nothing changes, then all of the sudden, within like 2 small notches you get major changes somewhere in the middle... then it never seems to be the same amount of change or boost level twice. Very frustrating

Ever try a standard needle valve with the vent part routed back into the intake pipe?

Funny that ya'll have this much trouble with these name brand controllers, yet I have been running a $2.00 Ebay DIY controller (ball/spring type with bleedoff) and it's been great. Changes are brought on by subtle adjustments, but it's still consistant.

Interesting to find that these name brand controllers aren't quite what they're represented to be.

mounting the actuator shouldn't be hard.

Just drill 2 holes on original t3 actuator mount.

I want actuator better than MBC because it's easier. I don't want any more hoses in my car.

I trust HKS more than any no-name ebay brands. Especially for my car.
