Just want to know theres a barb or nipple w/e you want to call it on the line that goes from the recirc. valve to the intake before the turbo charger. where is that line supposed to go?

my boost control solenoid is hooked up wrong. i got it figured out what needs to be done. On the recirc vavle, the tub that flows into the intake before the turbo, theres a barb that comes out for a vacuum line. where does that line go to? this is for the stock boost solenoid

screw the solenoid... Just run a hose from the intake manifold to the wastegate and be done with it. All the damn thing does is limit boost low rpm boost and create more unsightly vac hoses.

actually without it you only run 5.5psi max where as you see 8psi with the solenoid.

I imagine your talking about stock? We got rid of the boost controll solenoid on my friends Z31 and used a MBC and put it up to 10 pounds.... but uh... maybe the RB's are slightly different... I havent found this out for my self on my RB25 as it isnt installed yet, but will be in two weeks...

with the factory boost controller, the boost reference comes from the cold pipe to the wastegate with a tee (there is a restrictor between the reference line and the tee) going to the boost control solenoid which bleeds off pressure to raise boost. then a line runs from the solenoid to the recirculation tube to recirculate the air that was bled off back into the intake. i wish i had a better pic but all i have is this poor quality pic from a while ago of my engine bay where you can kinda see where i have an aftermarket manual boost controller in place of the stock one. hope it helps.

I dunno about your wastegate but both mine and the other 25 I built consistently boost to 7psi...

YES that is exactly what i was looking for. thank you dave. I know i either lost the restrictor or i threw it out ( stupid me) can i just bypass the tee and hook the coldpiep line to the solenoid to the wastegate.

th wastegate from the manual rb25det is mechanically set to 7#. the auto is set to 5.5# mechanically, and uses the solenoid to increase boost to 7# at a certain rpm (5500?).
