Do you have a CA18DET Wiring Harness? My Engine will need an uncut harness, as it comes with a harness cut at the firewall. I was wondering how much you would charge for a whole harness, converted if possible. I'm very sorry if you do not do this, I have heard about you though, and thought you could help. My AIM is VANssn240sx, and e-mail is [email protected]. Thanks.

i dont see why everyone needs a full harness. you just end up cutting it there anyway so you can extend it, to allow the ecu to sit in the proper place. all the wires are color coded, so it shouldnt be THAT hard..i could be wrong though.

So I should just be able to wire firewall back from my KA Harness to the Firewall forward CA Harness? Do the colors match?

No, you need the whole UNCUT CA harness. The only part you cut is the dash plug, not the ECU part!!!

When they cut the harness, its just for simpler removal right? Do they send you the complete cut harness? Could the harness be rejoined, or do they usually not sell the whole cut harness? A few hours of wire solder and tape would heal a cut harness i would think.

However, if a harness becomes is too hard to find, I could make a pulsar's harness fit a 240 with CA18DET. I also have 2 JWT ecus one for stock 370cc injectors and the other with a 3bar map and 50lb/hr injectors that was once N/A pulsar computers. Finding a complete CA harness is like finding a needle in a haystack in the U>S> because of the scarcity of the motor.

They will give me an Uncut Harness for an extra 200, is that my best bet?

and yes its to make it easier (lazy bastards)

no its not the complete cut harness...just the firewall side. i dunno why they don't just give you the complete harness and let you re-connect it yourself? maybe they don't like extra money or something?
