So since most of you know i have a cut harness, im making one last attempt to fix it.

I seem to be missing alot of plugs, i am missing the MAF plug, the IAT plug ect.

now what i need to know is will the KA plugs/sensor (i know maf will work, but will the IAT plug ect.

What plugs are on the engine harness? from these pics.

Ive circled the ones that i believe are in the harness, aswell as the ones i have

those plugs are the ones i am missing...are they 100 percent necessary?EDIT )) I have the 3 plugs that are required for the sr guide from fr sport and heavy throttle.

this shows which wires are left cut after wired to the ka harness...

This shows where the harness is actually cut.

My main question is, will the KA plugs work for this? if so, then im okay, and should be able to wire the rest of it up no prob. if not, then im getting a new harness.

If it was me and I had no choice (And I'm literally talking about myself), I could probably handle it. But with the amount of labor involved and we not actually seeing your situation up close and personal, I would say get a new harness; although you did one hell of job explaining it and I truly understand it as well. Bottom line is, you can use some of the KA plugs/sensors and if you know what you're doing, then go for it. Keep in mind, if you screw this up, your computer/ecu will be the sacrificial failsafe.

thank you sir, finally a knowledgeable response!

im pretty sure i can handle it, once i find a fsm for the SOHC so i can compare voltages ect to make sure i wont fry anythign, and make damn sure that i mate the right wires together, everything will be solderd and heat shrunk.

And the nice thing is, alot of wires that are cut, arent used. like the power steering ect.

one thing that i need to know tho

Boost control solenoid wire, its a light green, is it necessary to hook it to something? like will it cause the computer to go nuts?

Theres a couple other things im not sure if i need are as follows

Pin 58 - Dropping Resistor/Power Transistor (isnt this only for the a/t)Pin 47 - check Connector (wtf does this do?)Pin 57 - Idle Switch, TPS switch, WOT position (obvious i need this one, but are there more then one wire? or is it just 1 wire with 3 sensors attached to it?Pin 23 - Knock sensor - i remember that there was talk of having to run a new wire, do i run the wire or just extend it?Pin 05 - Boost Pressure Control Solenoid (stock electronic boost controller?Pin 104 - Auxiliary Air control valve (wtf does this go to? is it necessary?, and wtf color us sb?)Pin 111 - Pressure Regulator Control Solenoid ValvePin 51,52,41,42 - Crank angle sensor (is this the thing attached to the timing cover?, if not, where do these ones plug into?)Pin 08 - Variable intake butterfly control solenoid (only if i was using the solenoid to control the butterflies right?)Pin 07 - Tachometer Signal Output ( i know it goes to the dash but i also have one that comes off Pin 115,29 - O2 sensor (do they really need to be extended? mine look like they will connect right up...Pin 101, 110, 103, 112 - Injector Drive input, do these run up to coil paks and then back to the ecu? I dont think these are cut, but im not sure.

but for the record the TPS plug, MAF plug from the SOHC (unless i hard wire them) will work, and most others can be deleted, such as the check Connector, Boost Pressure Control Solenoid,Pressure Regulator Control Solenoid Valve and the rest of the plugs (ac, ps, ect) can be deleted?

im gunna confuse the **** outta you guys arent i? lol

Oh and one more thing, im not gunna be using the sensors, just the plugs. and where the hell is the crank angle sensor!
