what would be the best turbo application? and while were at it, what does the AR mean? and in what ways does it affect anything? im lazy and tried to search but couldnt really find much..

congradulations!!! your ready to turbo and get some power. oh, wait, you dont know about turbos? so you dont know how to read a compressor map? k, so you dont know how to calculate your volumetric efficency and find the right turbo? what about calculating for witch injectors to run and at what pressure? no? what about fuel management? not that either huh? ok, then heres what you do. buy the e-ram supercharger, pay someone to install it. you could still spend money on something you dont understand, but still keep your motor intact.

im normally not one to flame, but the fact of your very little knowledge, your un-willingness to search, and lazyness, tells me that your just a bandwagoning no body that just wants a free ride and be able to tell peaple "yeah, i got a turbo" your not gonna race it, excerpt for minivans at stop lights. you'll acomplish nothing but a bad rap for us, REAL enthusiests, and worse, youll probably get someone hurt. if your lucky, it'll only be yourself.

if you just want to seem cool, read some magazines and learn some termonollagy and leave the rest to peaple that ern it

sorry, i just wanted to know what the trim was and s*** on a turbo. and no im not gonna race minivans at stop lights. i prefer to race them at the track. duh

alright, way to be a tool, this entire purpose of this webiste is for people to come here and ask for assistence or gain knowledge on different aspects of the car world, now im not the type of guy to get involved in something that doesnt effect me, but when someone has no respect and desided to thrash somebody on an idea i tend to get a little irritated. Instead of knocking this guy down and belittleing him you could simply suggest ideas on how to build the car to withstand the newly built turbo charged car. its really not that hard to be a decent person and offer tips, infact id belivie helping this guy would of not only been easier to do but a whole lot quicker, it surley would of saved you some time. Who are you to judge him and predict his intentions on the build? To the guy hopeing to build up the single cam i wish you the best of luck and i hope u build the meanest and most reliable single cam on this whole website.

seriously...the dude comes on an says he is to lazy to search and you jump on his side to say he is trying to learn...give me a break...i spent days not hours, searching for info on my single cam build and not once resorted to "im too lazy". if he wants to build a single cam and not do any of the research have him send it to me, ill build him one... ill post my dyno sheet when mine gets off the rollers again. seriously he wont build the best one and i say that cause he is lazy... he prolly wont even build one...but if he does he can buy my leftover parts. give me a break, someone get the op's phone number so theses guys can get together and give out hugs.

yeah i want it back...i just dropped it back off at the dyno this afternoon....seriously just turn yourself into a sponge and soak up everything, thats what i did and look what turned out

thats what i did lol i didnt know a damn thing about cars but as soon as i started hanging out with my friend the next thing i know im doing 5 speed converions and motor swaps lol

your right, im an ***hole. after constantly helping peaple on this site to diag problems and help em find info, ya, i get pissed when peaple like the OP, come on and A- want stuff completely spelled out for them B-obviously have done no research, but already want to dive into a big project, and C- say flat out that there just to damn lazy, and would just like easy answer. a few clicks on google could have answerd his questions.

I started like bearback,when i bought my s13 i didn't buy it because of what it was I bought it cause i had cash and the price was good and i needed a DD,and I didn't know anything about cars,or change a headgasket for that matter..the first thing i wanted was to get the biggest muffles i could get,neon light the hole F&F bug,but then I found this site i first I was lazy didn't want to search just read others people problems,but then I had problems then i started searching asking question I did get flame but that just made me search more and ask more question till I figured it out myself..and after three full rebuilds I know my KA like the back of my hand...and know i can help other people with problems lazy or not..so moral of the story is just HELP..

When i first started with cars and drifting i didnt even know what a 240 was.. im not to the point as you but one day i will.. and yeah just help

want to turbo the sohc engine that's coming my way tomorrow. That's a sick looking setup. How much horse is it pulling and what all do you have installed? What radiator did you use? I am interested to see this. I traded for a pignose with no engine or transmission in it. The frame was rusted it now is fixed with 1/4 inch steel plate. I was just gonna fix the headgasket in the dohc ka and toss it in it. Since the vert is getting the sr20. But I would be interested in seeing what the sohc engines are capable of. IMO they look cooler for some reason.
