Greetings,

I just finished my swap and test drove my 240. It runs smooth stock.

My question is:

how far out or in do I need to adjust the HKS waste gate actuator rod that

goes to the compressor? I'm running 7psi at the moment. Everything is stock; Maf, Ecu and Injectors.

I'd like to adjust it to 9 or 10psi. Is it a trial and error thing when adjusting

the HKS waste gate actuator?

I just don't wanna mess up anything.

Play with it. You say you're running 7 psi. Well readjust it, drive it, and check your results. Keep doing it until you get your 9-10psi.

True that, but it's not in my budget for now. I'll keep that into consideration.

I use to use a HKS actuator. Every 2 to 3 turns making the rod shorter equals about 1 psi. It maxes out at about 14 psi. After that the rod will be too short to release any excess boost and you'll get crazy boost creep. For 9 psi, I'd say turn it clockwise about 5 times and then for a drive.

Eh, I'd do 2 turns at a time... I think I did mine like 5-6 and I'm at 11-12lbs on mine..

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if I had to turn it clockwise or counterclockwise.

I'm not exactly sure if it was clockwise, but the shorter the rod, the more psi you'll boost.
