So, for a few months now I've only been running my rb20 on 12 psi of boost, I just got my new injectors in and have been wanting to tune the car to run 20 psi for racing. Dont worry its not a stock turbo.

The problem is I can't get the boost to raise over 12 psi. With my AVC-R I cant turn it up. I even hooked up my old MBC and all it does is creep out to around 14 then back down to 12.

The actuator itself is adjustible, but I have it adjusted so the door is pretty tight.

Do you guys think my actuator is bad, or is it something else?

I would be a little concerned about trying to run 20 psi with only tuning on an AVC-R.

As for the lack of boost, I'm not that experienced in troubleshooting. Someone else should chime in on this.

Oh my God! There was this guy and he came over, and he was like, "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"Oh my God! i went over to my mom and she'd be like "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"That's so funny, cause i went home, and i said "Hey Dad, Weeeeeeeeeeee!"Oh my God! And then there was this guy and he goes, "Hey, i gotta knife" and I go "Weeeeeeeeeeee!"

Sorry, I had to.

I had 14.6 psi today on my rb20det with 550cc injectors using a blitz sbc. If I turn it up past 40set, it misses :/

Have you checked for boost leaks at 12psi or higher?

Weak actuator spring?

Im not sure what manifold you are using, maybe it is time to switch to a nice external setup.
