A fleet of 20 new Corvettes was delivered Friday by Chapman Chevrolet Chandler to the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving, with the sports cars earmarked for driver training on the school's 1.6-mile road course.

Bondurant forged a four-year agreement with General Motors on Oct. 4 for GM to supply 28 Cadillac CTS sedans, 16 Corvette coupes and four special-edition Corvette Z06s.

The cars are modified for track use, with racing wheels, roll bars, decals, stiffened suspensions and racing seat belts.

Bondurant previously had a longstanding deal with Ford, which fell through this year as Ford cut back expenses in the face of declining profits.

Time to make your reservations, boys and girls!!!

Big $$$. Plan on $400 for a 1/2 day class, over a grand for 2 days (my favorite).

Beats the hell out of DisneyLand.

i would be willing to spend $400 for a half day as long as i'm confident that I'll leave having learned something.

Skip Barber uses Vipers, Neons, and Dakota Pickups (skidpad only). Also fun, not cheap. I've done a lot of their programs. I recommend it.
