The bolts Nissan uses are complete Garbage-broke both of them trying to remove the front mudflaps. Anyone know how to remove the fender flares so I can try to get these out? Removed the black screws but the flare did not want to budge. Did a quick search and didnt come up with much.

Can you try drilling them out from the other end with like a dremel?

Thanks for tips guys. Tried using an "ez" out, didnt work. Trying to just drill them out now. Drilling them from the backside would require removing the whole flare. Bolts must be made out of the cheapest steel they could find. Sic, I have a dremel, is there a special bit to use etc?

"Hello China, yeah this is J.D.Nissan, can you send us a whole crapload of your non-premium econo bolts to assemble our Pathinder with? Great, paint them all grey so they look nice though. Thanks a Bunch."

Pulled the tabs out by breaking the 2 pop rivets holding them on. The tabs have been soakin in PB blaster for about 5 days. Will attempt to get the bolts out tomorrow. Went to the dealer to get new "tabs". Told they are only sold with the flare assembly which was asstronomically Expensive... Some things are so over engineered on the Path and then they use POS bolts....

Update: PB Blaster/penetrating oil didnt help. Couldnt remove bolts no matter what I tried. I Cut them off, drilled them out, drilled larger holes, retapped. Re-riveted the tabs back on and used Stainless Bolts. All back together and happy. Nissan overengineered alot of items on the Path. The flares/mudflaps/brackets etc are top notch in my opinion. Nice quality and Excellent Fitment. Only problem was the quality of the bolts, complete junk. Thanks for tips/replies and be careful when removing bolts if you live in a snow/salt climate.
