I trusted NISMO with their power brace torque specs and foolishly didnt check the FSM. So now i have a broken bolt in my front frame just behind the tension rod bushing.

I need an idea how much i have to pay someone to take it out for me. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I do not want to do it myself at all.

If you have direct access to the sheared face with good clearance, it should only take 5 minutes or less. Whatever the shop's min charge is what you'll probably pay.

EDIT: When I was about 16 my father and his 2 friends took our Chevy to some smalll-town podunk shop to remove a sheared valve cover bolt (yeah, I did it). The guy wanted to charge like $200 or something ridiculous. My father and his friends tore the guy a new one in front of his customers, including telling him exactly the 3 steps required to remove the shank. He agreed to do it for a lot less.

for the price a shop will charge you could get a set of bolt extraction tools your self. Or just drill and run a tap through it, or use a heilocoil or however you spell it.

understood, but i also wanted the bolts replaced with high quality temered black bolts (made of the same metal as a impact socket set). So all the bolts replaced and the broken one removed for only $65 done this morning.

not bad, in all.I also have to say that the power brace completely changed the feel in the front handling of my s13.Stock, It was grippy but sloppy with the two sides of the car flexing too much.

Now its perfectly stiff, sharp and parallel when i turn; a good invenstment for all you s13 owners.
