I would recommend not changing your bolt pattern if you can help it... Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the stock bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3. meaning there are 5 lugs evenly spaced at a distance of 114.3mm. This is an extremely common pattern and there is really no benefit to changing to a different one.
As far as what rims to get, It depends on what you are going for. If you want to just go for looks you can get pretty much anything you want without being dangerous so long as you stay at or above the stock 225 tire width. If you want performance I would recommend low-profile tires on a rim somewhere between 16 and 18 inches (low profile means that there is smaller sidewalls in the tire which makes them stiffer and they are less likely to roll around a corner giving you better control) and make sure it is the same if not a larger width.
Other than those factors the style choice is up to you. I have noticed that many companies with make a "Universal" 5-lug rim, which has several 5-lug bolt patterns that as far as I can tell always includes the 5 x 114.3. These "Universal" rims tend to be a bit cheaper as well, since the company doesn't have to spend extra money creating a different casting for each bolt pattern.
