I currently have an aftermarket set of rims on my Grand Prix. The bolt pattern is 5x114.3 and the offset is +38, will these rims fit the 08 Coupe?

What colour car would look best with these rims?

TIA.

With a +38, your wheels might look a little sunken in. Try it and if you don't like that look, just get yourself a set of 5-10mm spacers. I think 10mm would probably look the best. It'll put your wheels 3mm out over OEM.

That's IF your aftermarkets are 7 inches wide. What size are they?

By "tucked in" do you mean the tires are too far inside the fenders?

Here are some pics that show how they look.

From above.

From behind.

BTW, my tires are 245/45/18's so maybe the smaller tire size of the Altima might make them work.

Thanks for the help.

These are my 18x8's with a +45 offset. They're almost out to the lip, but not quite. So, I ordered 8 mm spacers because I want it flush with my fenders.

Bolt pattern and offset aren't the only issues, the Nissan has a hub ring, I don't know what size it is, but Lexus wheels of the right bolt pattern and offset didn't fit because the Nissan hub ring is larger than the lexus

generic808 wrote:Yeah, that's exactly what I meant by "tucked in". Your offset is a +38 so you'll be 7mm deaper if you put these on your Altima because they're +45. The Altima's have pretty wide fenders so I think it will look even more tucked. The +38's on your current car don't look bad, but I personally like the wheel to fender lip look found on the G35, 350Z, and most European cars like BMW and Audi.
Generic, how long have you been working with cars...what you stated is the OPPOSITE of how offset works! An 18x7 wheel with a +37 offset will stick out FURTHER than an 18x7 wheel with a +45 offset. (8 mm further to be exact) Offset is defined as the distance between the hub mounting surface and the center line of the wheel TOWARDS the exterior of the car. The more + the offset of a wheel, the further out towards the outside of the centerline it will mount, thus DECREASING the amount it will effectively stick out from the wheel well.

When you bought spacers for your car, you effectively DECREASED YOUR WHEEL OFFSET... here follow this link before you respond. I really hope this fellow did not go out and purchase wheels based on your description of wheel offsets. These forums are meant to educate!
